Well ships don't bomb anymore. So the design of the ship doesn't harm its ability to attack planets. In fact it only aids it since the Autumn had a full compliment of Marines, ODST's, and was suppose to have a compliment of Spartans on board. This would make it useful for setting up staging areas on the ground or taking ships in space.

actually, capital ships can have planet bombing without having them automatically seige the planet like frigates. We technically could have all of the capital ships launch pelicans at planets with little to no effect on regular gameplay.

That being said, We felt it best to keep the number of capitals bombing to a low amount due to class and balance. We have issues with other ships overlapping roles and making ships not worth it. The Autumn is a very powerful ship and its better to leave the carriers to the job of invasions.

You know this mod is very close to cannon when you choose the Autumn for a special mission deep in enemy lines out of all the other ships.

idea i thought off but is too small to make new thread: i noticed how the covie drop pods are place holders, so under the assumption the new one is not modled, what about using scarabs? and forgive typos andblogic gaps, im on mobile.
