Was in a commandeered ferry coming back from an ex.
Pretty rough storm.
Was standing in the middle of the deck and was thrown sideways to the port side, up 4 feet and astern 3 feet. Landed on my arse.

Private muppet still had his helmet on, was thrown from one side to the other and into a bulkhead. Helmet was a write off but he was OK.

Saw the same swell smash into, our destroyer escorts T42, a T45, was at least 2/3rds out the window water.

I should state it took 3 and a half hours to be seen by a doctor with only 3 other people in A&E.

Not like its life threatening or anything mate you take your time, you see some people with the flu first and have a cup of tea.

Thats in addition to core subjects that every school has to do, Like english, English Lit, Maths, Science, Additional Science, History, Geography, religion, citizenship. Then anything additional you want, sociology, art, food, Law, ext.

But its not just maths, the questions are shit like wok out the trajectory of this mortar round, English lit. is like make up a story, English is like write up report, Science is like make a better propellant, ect.

When you reach 15, they take you off bolt action rifle range to semi and fully automatic simulated battles. Give you some responsibility and the likes.

You can stay as a cadet up to the age of 20, at which point you can get a commission at sandhurst quite easily.

"Royal armed forces"? What's this then? There's the Royal Navy but the army is one of parliament. In fact the British army is technically not standing like the Navy, parliament technically has to reconfirm its existence every year. But mind you I don't think they would risk a coup.

But some regiments and corps have a Prefixes like Royal, Or guard. Royal prefix is essentially an award given for loyalty and bravery. They are in essence crack troops.
