To bring Halo space content to a local computer near you, Homefront and Sins of the Prophets are making things official with our partnership. Homefront is currently designing and beautifying the Covenant for both mods as SotP provides the home we desperately need and we look forward to sharing this space with all of you! So what does that mean for all of us? Well, you get some really cool Covenant models for both mods and you get to tell us (Homefront) how we're doing as developers. If you have Homeworld 2, or just want to keep up with current developments, please check us out, the link is right at the bottom of this section! We're friendly, we don't bite, and we'll welcome anything you have to say with open arms.

 

Our partnership is here to stay and we're looking at a long term relationship here folks. No cheating in this household, we're the perfect atomic family!

I was hoping something like this would happen, when 2 mods share a web page, I can see the comments for SOTP coming here now and he comments for homefront go to SOTP.

I'm a skeptical person by nature and I don't like change. As such, I'd honestly be lying if I said I immediately welcomed this change.

They've had a limited online presence outside of Moddb due to a lack of forum hosting since the old BLS forums went down. Hopefully we can help get a new community off the ground for them and become an even tighter knit group due to it.

We aren't entirely sure yet, but we'll probably migrate over to them.

I admit, I lol'd.

But back to the point, how would you migrate to a different game altogether? since that what it sounds like, but I am clueless about ANYTHING home world, (my talents rest in knowledge of SotP and Soase) so if its not a totally different game and just a graphics update that makes more sense.

I cant believe someone has not thought of that before now.... and that goes for me too, that should be a obvious point of controversy yet it took a matter of hours to think of it... (i dont know why im shocked by this, I just am.)

 

EDIT: i guarantee you this was the first thing on the devs minds and they have been thinking about it for like... ever.
