Here's the preview for Issue #3.

Interesting note in relation to this mod.  Seems like the Covenant have planetary defenses after all.

EDIT:

Here's the link to purchase issue #3 digitally.

Jiralhanae, ODSTs, Spirits, Lord Hood...seems like they've decided to put every single reference to the past in a comic book...

My rage is getting stronger and stronger...I NEED to get those comics...

Ground based Type 27 "mantis" and the type 38 "tyrant" are planetary defences, one of them almost shot down the port Stanley.

They are available in the digital section for $3.59.

I was expecting something a little larger.  But I suppose we'll see soon.

I imagine they would have at least 12 per planet "face" so getting shot at by 12 of those at once would makes short work of you. Even to 60CM of titanium they were quite the threat.

True, I suppose we'll have to wait until tomorrow to see the extent of these planetary defenses

Planets Attacking ships you mean?
That sounds cool but:

Onagers and stuff?

Neither the Onager (MAC) nor the Tyrant are capable, or at least is never shown, of firing into space from inside the atmosphere of a planet. On Harvest they used a MAC to fire junk and cargo into space but that would be super ineffective to use for shooting ships in orbit.

One of the ground based cov guns nearly shot down the port stanley, whilst searching for survivors.

Do you know if this mod is compatible with SOTP?

Well the mod wouldn't be compatible, but the concept could certainly be modded into SOTPs.

This is why reading the books is imperative. Misinformed my friend.
