[I Am Sancho]

Alright the contestants are in and its time to vote for the voice of the Strident! 

 

 

All contestants should be judged off of their portrayal of their character and fit for the ship, not their recording abilities. All submissions were given small overarching filters and an FFT filter to give a rough idea of what the submission would sound like in game. 

 

All actors were told to follow the rules and script here. Sancho also reserves the right to choose a winner during a tie of votes, or upon the fact that he feels like it, because he's the bloody audio director. All votes must be in by 10pm MST Saturday February 8th. You can vote for multiple VO's if you like. First place submission will be awarded the voice of the strident in the game! Second place will be sent a script for the Sahara Heavy Prowler. If your voice rocked and you didn't win, you may still be approached later for future voice work.

Argh, it's hard to take a decision. It has to be a cocky captain, right?

 

Well I think that both Country Boy and HTR74JR are cocky enough. Furthermore, Country Boy reminds me a lot of the original Starcraft voices, which are awesome.

So yeah, my vote goes to:

Me, being tone death means i can't hear some of the voices well (American accents are the worst, sometimes sounding like a scratching sound), and may sound different to me.

Sancho, did you remove the how about a couple hundred tons of tungsten line?

I did, a few submission lines were removed from things to keep with the rules as close as possible. I have back up copies though.
