It's all good man. I'm alone until Sunday so I'm just looking to keep myself busy or entertained. It's when you sit around and do nothing when it gets to you. I'll check the steam group I guess, never actually played a multiplayer SotP game.

I can handle a legendary AI if that is comparable. Oh well, I'll see if I can even find a game. I'll try and not get destroyed.

Depends on who you're playing - you'll have to understand you can't pull what you can against an AI. Even legendary is easy to screw with if you know how...

Early economy, high expansion rate, Thanatos/mako spam and LOTS of nuclear mines. I played maybe 10 SotP games over this weekend, I seem to be (not bragging) pretty good, in both vanilla and SotP. Except when I get assraped by an Impossible AI in the first 5 minutes.. I can hold my own though. Territory does not fly easily.

Mines sometimes don't work as well as against an AI. AIs love to clear your minefield with their fleets...

Oh, they work. Played with Andy and Starnote tonight and I was the only one that used mines. I lost one planet. Starnote lost his entire empire and had to be relocated between me and Andy. Don't even know how much Andy lost. Using a shitton of mines and then rushing destroyers in as they're disabled and damaged works wonders.
