Kind of surprised a thread hadn't been created sooner.

Well, this video leaked showing some Halo 2 remastered cut-scenes (admit it, we are all getting this for Halo 2 A)

All the individual games will come with their own original multilayer setups along with all dlcs. Also Halo 4 will have new maps added from Halo 2.

I hate the idea of pre-rendered cut scenes. For a game like Halo Wars, it makes sense. All of Halo's cut scenes have been in-game, and I just feel that the pre-rendered will pull the game out of the game and just create a suspension of disbelief motivated reasoning. I just don't really know how to explain it other than being a detachment from the game.

Halo 4 had pre-rendered cut-scenes and I imagine 5 and any other future games will. I think Halo 2A having pre-rendered cut-scenes would pull it closer. When they redo Halo for the next anniversary (20th? 25th? Who knows, but it is coming) they will probably pre-render all the cut-scenes.

I hope they change some of the original cut-scenes, like the start of Delta Halo when you drop in the pods they make the interior more Halo3:ODST-y, and have the drop be more hectic.

Halo 4 didn't have pre-rendered cutscenes. It had a pre-rendered prologue and epilogue. And then Spartan Ops was pre-rendered, which made sense. But between missions IMO I feel it should be in-game cutscenes.

I'm only getting it because this is my justification for getting an Xbox one. That and the all seeing eye is finally gone. However I think a song fits halo 2 being released fits this.

The needler kinda sucked in Halo CE and 2. But you could dual wield them in 2 which was nice

I am glad my room-mate next year has an Xbox One, will be fun to play Halo 2 again.
