Then whats the point of having the Halo installations in the mod hell when i go to explore the Halo rings i find nothing every time is it a bug or part of the game

Special effects for the rings will be added. All in good time...
We're not doing superweapons at all though. They ruin any kind of late-game play.

Sure this has probably already been suggested, but as the team doesn't like the idea of having Halo function as a super weapon, it could be incorporated into the occupation victory condition as the planet type that has to be captured and held.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that they're going for Occupation victory with the Halo's.

Somebody more technically adept than I am can probably correct me on this but AFAIK you can't assign the planet that the Occupation victory is based on.

Uhh Star Wars: Interrgnum has Coruscant as the occupation victory planet (not in the released version) so its possible to set a Halo as that.
