Not really a new guy but it has been about a year since I was last a tester for this mod and it seems to have come a long way since then. Finally got a new computer that can play the game smoothly at best graphics level. Still possible for me to become an official tester again or no?

Hang around on the forums, contribute, and test the public beta and we'll see about getting you back in the super secret squirrel stuff. Sorry, but you can't come back from a long hiatus and get nice toys. If you look like your main interest is helping the mod, instead of just getting the game early, we'll definitely consider it.

Getting pretty bored doing the UNSC only version. The UNSC seem pretty well balanced and the Flood is just as scary as it should be while not being too scary. Just got Rebellion and I am wondering if you guys have any version (public or dev) for that yet?

No. We have to create tangent maps for all of the meshes to make the mod compatible with Rebellion, among other myriad changes. We worked hard for a long time to get out what's out and unless you would like the community to hang you by your entrails and parade you about the city, I would keep your unusually fleeting interest to yourself. If you're bored with it after eight days, then there's nothing we can do for you. This is definitely not the way for you to acquire private beta access, because this tells me you would like access merely because it's exclusive, not because you have any interest in the success of the mod.

not to mention weekly patches, unless there's been a change to that idea

OK I admit that was the wrong choice of words. What I meant was that I have done just about everything I can checking for bugs and balancing issues with the UNSC and am now waiting to check the other stuff but the wait is killing me. Pretty hard to balance UNSC vs UNSC when it should be UNSC vs Covenant.
