Heavy burden should be the refinery structure itself, not a transport ship. I like the idea of using OP's ship as the trade ship and the current trade ship for ore transport.

Agreed. Spring-hill class is pretty sizable. Probably roughly the size of the cradle. Big motherfucker.

Could you implement it as a flagship? Make a similar one for the Covenant, and have a "protect the refugee" gametype.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

That would be so horribly easy to destroy it wouldn't even be funny. Literally just bypass the entire fleet and destroy the one ship to win in the first salvo. Bad idea.

Seconding; Heavy Burden is far too large to work as a refinery ship in Sins.

Unfortunately SotP just can't work that way in an intelligent manner. Damage values and shielding negate any possibility.

I was thinking of a similar style. Because what we currently use looks like a strait up civilian transport. Where as the op's ship looks more like a cargo ship that would be used for trade, but ended up pressed into service as an evac ship.

I like the idea of OP's ship replacing the trade ship.
