I've got an idea for a map, but I'm not exactly sure how to set up Galaxy Forge (Got it but it was for trinity only) and mods so I can use custom planets. So where do you download the required software to setup Galaxy Forge.

A Google search should find you a download for Galaxy Forge.  As for setting up galaxy forge, I think the custom planets are automatic in Galaxy Forge if you already have the mod enabled and working for the game.  If not, a search for a tutorial on YouTube for setting up mods in Galaxy Forge would be your answer.

Found where Galaxy Forge is, but can't find a tutorial for how to allow mods to be added into it.

You need the mods GSD file (GalaxyScenarioDef). Copy that and put it into the Galaxy forge folder. Also when making maps specifically for SotP set the gravwell sizes to -1

So I assume its the 'MoveAreaRadius' that I have to reduce.

Is there a way to change the number of resource asteroids that spawn on a planet?
