Just finished watching Nightfall. Why did you guys have to be right on the fact that it's crap? It felt like the Walking Dead at some parts and the Hobbit at others but never really Halo. Why? Too much walking. Where are the Covenant? Action? That's what Halo is! ACTION! Honestly, both Halo 3 and Halo Wars look better. I'd rather watch a movie that looks like Halo 3 then this crap.

I learn from the past, enjoy the present and look forward to the future.

Nightfall? It was nicely made (The Sangheili was the best part of the movie in my opinion), but its was highly predictable. You could essentially figure out whom was going to die, and whom wasn't (other than Locke, because you wouldn't have that Jerk in Halo 5 now would you) going to make it. Added if you're well versed in the Halo Lore, or even more so in the Covenant, you could tell what was slithering on the Dropship and etc when they have their first encounter.

I was thinking, "Mgalekgolo worms." and then Locke squeezes it in his hand and I saw orange blood, which confirmed my theory. Except they are experimental "Super" Lekgolo worms that have an appetite for technology, which makes sense as to why the Covenant hired fringe workers and such to get the "virus" or whatever for them, since the covenant is heavily reliant on technology.

I felt like their weapons were too big. I have held an M16 and honestly? Its not very big to me. The costumes/outfits were cool, the 'condor' (Halo 4 and 5's Pelican *cough* *cough*) was neat, though it sucks how it gets thrown out of the movie after the encounter until the last leg of said movie.

And honestly, even if its an ONI snatch and grab mission, you don't know how long you'll be out there on a mission -why didn't you pack MORE rations? This is supposed to be the future...so you just said,

"Even though soldiers back then had backpacks and ruck-sacks full of rations and other survival gear, its the future and we TOTALLY won't have to have as much gear now!" *facepalm* but I digress.

Also, its 2550 something now, you CANNOT FIGHT A DISEASE??? I call bullshit on that, sorry. But eh, its humanity so I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but eh its a plot device so, never mind.

It was still a cool movie, but I felt like it could have been better.
