It's nice since some of my strings rely on some unicode icons which are not included in Windows 7.

When only your computer loves you, there's nothing left to do but upload your consciousness like Johnny Depp.

Bob SternuS.
I added the funny font to keep it fresh.
I'm looking forward to Windows 10 but its making me want to wipe everything on my PC and do a clean install which both daunts me a little and is a lot of effort. Might wait a while for the first set of bug fixes to roll in.

I'm impressed with 10 so far. Very smooth, not bad looking, overall quite a nice OS. Worth the upgrade IMO

i found that apparently because the monitor i use for my PC is actually a TV, i was having a problem where most non-Microsoft apps were blurry, like the resolution is off or something (i think its just a problem for bigger monitors, as my Dell 17R laptop works perfectly)

That's a "Microsoft trying to fix your DPI, poorly" problem.... You can fix that in 8.x, probably can in 10 too but I'm not sure where that would be.i found that apparently because the monitor i use for my PC is actually a TV, i was having a problem where most non-Microsoft apps were blurry, like the resolution is off or something (i think its just a problem for bigger monitors, as my Dell 17R laptop works perfectly)

Is it true that Windows 10 has security features you cant turn off like windows updates, encryption key backups, keylogger, etc? I saw this post on Imgur from 4chan and I wouldnt put it past Microsoft to do something like this.

One of the biggest markets there are nowadays is for information. Targeted ads benefit from these massively. Sometimes conpanies use them to improve service and products in general but most of the time they just sell it. More or less harmless if you have Adblock. Though I guess things like credit cards and other login information is a pretty huge problem. Oh well. You're using their OS, switch to a competitor if you don't like it. Or petition for changes or something. Is it true that Windows 10 has security features you cant turn off like windows updates, encryption key backups, keylogger, etc? Some of those are true, yes. You can't disable Windows Update (although you can disable specific updates if needed), mainly because way too many people disabled updates when something like a really bad vulnerablility hits, thus leaving them open to being pwnd. Microsoft's predictive keyboard will store your keystrokes... that's kinda how it... well... predicts... things...... Backing up the key is stupid, if you really care about encryption, but what happens when Gramma forgets her password and leaves the whole device inaccessible because it's solidly encrypted? Yes, there are security comprimises, but there always are, especially nowadays. Microsoft's not doing anything worse than anyone else...

I remember hacking into Grandma's Windows 95 to play Minesweeper. Just click the X.
