This vessel is actually one of the coolest additions to the Covenant fleet.  At first glance it appears to be merely a slightly oversized CCS with spikes.  In reality it is an old warship with extremely heavy armor  when the Covenant fleet had weak shields.  Its described as being not as heavily armed or defended as the CCS.   Most interesting of all is that it has a previously unseen system called a stasis enfolder.

I dunno what your guys' plan is for the RCS (or if you were gonna include it at all) but assuming this Stasis enfolder is a larger version of the Stasis cannon on the Vampire.  That'd be a pretty neat ability for the Covenant.

"The Stasis Cannon is a Covenant weapon found on the Vampire's frontal section. When fired, it disables the targeted enemy aircraft, rendering it unable to move or fire. Once the Vampire is upgraded with Stasis Drain, the weapon not only stops its target, but also drains its energy regenerating the Vampire itself and making the hostile crash onto the ground. Its second upgrade, Stasis Bomb, causes drained aircraft to explode, inflicting Area Of Effect damage."- halopedia.com

RCS, currently, is a mixture of a Carrier/Tank for the Covenant, superseding the role we did have it in which is now the ORS.

This isnt a terrible idea really, always looking for ways to spice up the Covenant fleet. I can't promise it will work for what we have, but i'd be interested in trying it out.

Stasis enfolder could be late tier ability.

Hmm, I know that they have the Same model as the CCS as of now. I hope it will get a new distinct model soon. Also, it would be nice to have a comparison image between the CCS/RCS.

...Faber, it's not really a hard find. It's on the very short wiki page. Hell, had you asked me, I would have told you. Besides, we don't need any fluff devs.

I wouldn't be opposed to the 1st tier. Stasis bomb is a no however.

@Crisiss

I could not ask you to find something I did not know about can I now? What I am saying is, sometimes people like me can miss small details like this.

Its going to be nice to see the Covenant get a dedicated tank ship. However as we can see from its wiki page, its offensive capabilities are actually lower than the CCS. Will this be the case with the RCS? It would have to have one hell of a tank to make up for weapons less powerful than a sub-capital :P. Additionally, are there any plans for any visually distinct changes to be made to the ship?

The RCS is weaker than both the CPV and CCS in firepower. However it has more health in total than either ship, and it houses 2 strike craft squadrons, making it a tanky carrier for the Covenant. Additionally, the SDV no longer carries fighters, having been relegated to a pure siege frigate.

Can you give us a ballpark on how much tank it has? I doubt it has more tank than say, the CAS. Additionally, at what stage will we get the ship? Is it an early, or late game ship?

You did a good job comparing run-of-the-mill ships with the absolute pinnacle of the entire faction. If a non-capital starts out-tanking muh CAS, I'm going to start cutting myself.

It still is a CAS. The Battleship can be excused as it even gave the based Preston Cole a hard time.
