No, that's basically the Adjudicator. I was thinking at something more like what Crisiss and Stark suggested. A high-dps-tanking muthafucka. Something that hits frequently and hard. A destroyer.

 

Yeah now I can understand that, I also use it as a filler when I need to build a fleet fast.

Hmm, with these game play improvements in place, it would seem that it would be on-par with the CCS in terms of DPS and tank. What special thing should make them unique and distinct ships?

From what Lavo has told me, this is how understand it anyways. Close range ships in general are terrible for Sins, for one they'll get hit hard before they can get in range, that and the AI, and auto attack AI would handle that type of ship it wouldn't go over well.

Basically I'm trying to say it's probably not gonna happen. The Sins engine has failed us again.

Help me Sergeant I'm lost in Kurfluffle land!

Yay, we got a new model! One can only hope that the destroyer gets some new abilities as well. It would be a shame if it rarely sees use.

I do hope they make it a viable late-game ship, it's one of my favorites aesthetic-wise(looks very menacing imo)

 

Plasma torpedo clouds could rarely go wrong.
