Sorry if this has already been thought of or created, I just joined the forums looking for people to play with online and didn't see anything recent.

Okay, so perhaps instead of posting on the forums when you are trying to find someone to play SOTP with, maybe someone could create a "game room" of sense using an application like teamspeak 3? If anyone reading this isn't familiar with teamspeak 3 it is a chat forum of sorts where people can join and talk while playing games, it has a lot of different channels one can join so you won't have to hear everyone in the channel talking while you are in game.

Here is an example of a channel

I think this would be a good idea to organize all the sins of the prophets players into one little chat community. You could have a channel labeled 'waiting for game' and if no one is online you could just sit in it killing ai until people join in. And if enough people are using it you could just log into the teamspeak channel at anytime to check in on who is online.

If the admins cannot afford the monthly cost of a teamspeak channel then perhaps someone in the community already has one; a friend of mine has one but the majority of the players in there are for dayz but we could use it if we had to. Just whatever channel or application we use I think it would be a good idea to have the moderators of this mod and the site be in control of it, if they are in control then perhaps they could promote it and get as many people into it as possible using all the sites that promote sotp.

If anyone already has a pretty popular channel dedicated to sotp then post it on here, maybe get everyone concentrated into the same place to get matches up quick ;)

TeamSpeak is great and all, but I don't see how the ability to hear one another would increase the frequency of multiplayer games. Only a small selection of the people that play the mod now would have a microphone for a TeamSpeak server anyway. We already have Steam and Xfire groups.

Yeah I thought it was strange we have ~3,500 downloads and people are having a hard time finding multiplayer games. Think I'll pin up a thread in the community events board linking to our Steam and Xfire groups.

That would be a great idea, many people might have never played any sins online before and wouldn't know where to start. I have never played online :P

Here's the thread: http://www.sinsofthe...oups/#entry4422

That should help people get in contact with one another but if they can't figure out how to set up games then I can't help them much.
