I've looked over a few other posts about this and didn't see anything that directly applied to what I've had happen.
I played SotP as the UNSC in a single player and the game ran fine (I lost due to loosing the flagship I didn't even know I HAD).
A buddy of mine and I went to try it out and it kept crashing on us so we moved to a different mod.
I came back to SotP last night to try playing as the Covenant to see what they were all about.
Every time I launch a game I get the error about shutting down the game and making sure LAA is enabled. I know LAA is enabled because I've done it several times just to be sure. The menus work fine but as soon as the game starts it crashes.
I've tried the advice I've seen on the forums here about validating my local files (and re enabling LAA), I re-downloaded the mod and reinstalled, etc. The game still crashes.
Anyone have any idea what I can do? I really enjoyed the short UNSC match I played and the mod looks absolutely awesome and I'd like to play more.
