I follow the installation instructions verbatim, and I never get past the "Sins of the Prophets" loading screen upon start up. I will get one of two error messages:

SotP Had Encountered a Fatal Error
Please restart your game and ensure Large Address Aware (LAA) is active. If you are a coder, please check your counts and the manifest and try again.

I don't understand why it does this, for I run the LAA every time.

Second error I get:

MiniDump

The mod is currently broken due to an unannounced, unscheduled, and unexpected update to the game that brought a new DLC and other fixes into play. A new patch will soon be released that makes the mod playable again. It is not currently in a playable state. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Downloaded latest version, still getting the error.  Windows 7 box.  8 GB ram.  Space to spare.  LAA is enabled.  Any thoughts on what else I could try?
