For the forerunner turret I was thinking about the particle turret from the mantles approach. You know the ones that vapourised unsc ships in one hit. As seen here: http://www.halopedia...Particle_cannon

About a month ago, me and Uni discussed potential types of forerunner weaponry, based off of what the forerunners have for weapons in halo 4. One example that we thought might be a good idea was a torpedo that looked and acted similar to the incineration cannon shot. Keep in mind that the entire conversation was complete speculation and just potential idea generation, and not actually confirmed things going into the mod.
