Mako & Berlin Frigates unable to target structures, unsure if bug or design plan

Charon has ability of string not found with 0% to whichever statistic it's meant to buff

Ofcom Ops / Research and Development tab, first level, string not found research with same icon as antimatter removal ability of Cobalt frig of original Sins, another in fifth tab, demolition bots icon, no string, sixth teir, intercept ability icon, no string

Odd fleet behavior, if a fleet has Berlin frigates in it, when targetting a planet, the Berlins will move to the planet instead as if it lacks orbital bombardment capabilities. It however can target independently.

Another oddity; Team colour icon on captured Covenent Vessels acts oddly as if "jittering". Unsure of reason, can upload video if required for further information.

Anchor Station still has shielding.

Fighter/Bomber squads from Sabre Hangers remain at 8 per a squad.


Will update OP as game gets further.

Going off of the changlog here are some bugs I found.
The intro video has been changed to the one from the base sins game instead of the custom one.
The anchor station still has shields, does not appear to have a repair passive ability, and is still available before researched.
The Valiant class ship's abilities have not changed.
The Sabotage engine and reactor abilities are still present in the tech tree although they read "string not found" in each description box.
Marathon icon still flashes in the tech tree.
The particle effect is still present when the Destroyer is built but seems to go away when a save is reloaded.
Slipspace exit sfx doesn't appear to have changed either.

I compiled this list after playing for an hour and a half today and as such these are what I have observed thus far. Also I have only looked at the changes listed in the patch notes provided on the moddb link. I tried to address the problems I found in the order they appeared in the list and any that I did not mention are because the changes ingame match the changlog. As always I would appreciate if anyone can replicate and verify these problems. Also if there are any questions about what I mean let me know and I will try and clarify. I hope this helps.

So i seem to be having an install issue. the installer chugs along like its supposed to but no new content gets installed. This might be a problem on my end with folder placement, but as far as i remember i didnt change any folder locations

We are looking into these issues now as most of them reported actually are fixed. A few notes though
The 0% buff on the Charon is actually a 0.25% buff, its just rounded down by the computer. If you build 4 charons, you will see the buff 1% on all frigates, so its working nominally.
Also the repair on the anchor station will not have an icon due to it having too many, but if you park a ship close to it (think range of repair stations) it will repair it. (that is in the version without the problems apparently :/)

Any idea on why this issue is occurring? For me it's like I am only getting half of the patch. Do you think it's an issue on the users end or is it an issue with the moddb download?

I don't know if its just me but OFCOM and DEFCOM look almost identical at first glance while looking at the research tab.

This makes it rather tedious to differentiate the two, but it may just be me.

Help me Sergeant I'm lost in Kurfluffle land!

I'm not sure if this is just me but the Eion light carriers don't have a symbol in the empire tree on the right while the marathon cruisers have the Eion's old symbol in the empire tree.

this is the same for every single version of the mod, not just the public beta, the icons kinda need an overhaul

it was changed almost a week before the patch release, thats probably why

I just got trinity and wanted to play the public beta with my friend and the menu is blank after I load the mod.

You don't have the latest version. To fix it you have to update to Entrenchment v1.055. You can press enter from the blank menu to enter the single player menu.

You're going to have to contact Stardock about problems with their game.

Don't know if this is a hard coding problem but my halcyons (cruiser variant) always go for the planet, not the ships in the enemy gravity wells.

Mine never do that. I often forget that they even have planetary bombardment weapons.
