[damn_tall_marine]

That forerunner ship from halo wars was a centurion class i believe (these things; http://www.halopedia...eadnought_class), but they are never officially named and i only call it the centurion class because i heard it called that by a few people.

I know this is way down the line and off topic, but are those Dreads going to be in game!?

Because those are UNSC designations. Do you honestly think the Covenant named their own ship the Covenant Assault Carrier?

When you're playing as the Covenant we want you to feel like you're the Covenant, so we're giving you your own designations just like any faction would have.

because these are names given to the ships by the UNSC. They will still be called that in descriptions. However, the names are trying to convey that you are actually the covenant, and not a human controlling the covenant. I think thats the reasoning anyway, its been a while since this question has been brought up.

ohhhhhh ok hurmmmmm i guess u can try past historic covi names if there is any or covi planet names im not good with names so i cant really help sorry :/

those wiki links have images to the covi ships so u can use those images as renders for the game and test them on the beta

If any of the dev team hasnt seen any of those ships in those links in some shape or form by now (except in cases where there is no image), i would be surprised.
