no, and it shouldnt, its very useful as it is, and i dont see a need for it to stack at all.

Yeah, I agreed, giving your fleet the first say with MAC salvos is pretty great. I wasn't sure though.

That range boost, plus research, can sometimes give you two free MAC salvos. Enough to devastate a covenant fleet if you have enough ships

Against a UNSC fleet. A level 3 Smart AI Orion + Researches would kill the fleet before they can even fire their MACs.

Against a UNSC fleet. A level 3 Smart AI Orion + Researches would kill the fleet before they can even fire their MACs.
depends entirely on the size and composition of the fleet. A fleet with 1 Valiant (the Valiant now has the ability, see quote below) and 500 paris frigates vs a fleet of around 200 covenant frigates and a supercruiser (equivalent to an orion) would result in a UNSC loss most likely.
Smart AI on the Orion is gone.
As a side note, research is also a large factor.

Yeah but nobody is going to build 500 straight Paris frigates and just 1 Valiant.
I expect Thanatos, Marathon, and Halcyon cruisers in the mix providing a much higher DPS per ship.

i was using that as an example. No smart person would ever make a fleet like that.

it has an ability that increases damage against shields. Also, thermonuclear device is getting replaced by Ion Bolt, which i believe is going to be remade into an ability that would be an "EMP MAC", which would have the same effect but different name. Not confirmed though.

I was assuming it'd be a more powered up version, after the whole thread pointing out how inconsequential the vanilla ability is on the Supercarrier.
