Problem with the .zip file

I have recently joined this site and I have downloaded the SOTP_UNSC_MOD_PATCH1.zip file from the moddb downloads section. I have used various different pieces of software like WinRAR, WinZIP, 7-Zip and IZArc to try to extract the files from the zip folder, but i get an error message saying "the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged".
I have downloaded the file several times to see if it had downloaded correctly, but everytime I try to extract, it won't work.
I have no idea what to do so I thought I'd ask you guys to help me.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Assuming you're running WIndows, you need no extra software to open a .zip file.
It's telling you that "the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged". Redownload... It probably got corrupted somehow
