Is it possible to change it to the capital ships name is under attack or something like that? It seems a bit silly for a UNSC ship captain to scream "OH GOD WE LOST SHIELDS.". When I imagine that I also imagine a engineer onboard saying "Sir, we didn't have any shields to begin with, how could we lose them?".
(Insert capital ships name here)'s shields are down!

There aren't separate strings for different factions so we can only change the string for every faction, and more factions have shields than not so I doubt we'll change the string. Sorry.

What if the string is changed to "our capital ship is taking hull damage"?

well, this doesnt mean a shielded ship has lost its shields, so that might not be the best one. Personally, i like ember's change to mine, which would be "our capital ship is taking damage"
