Necrontyr here saying hello from Austin, TX. I'm a mechanical engineer working for an oil field drilling tools manufacturer. Been a huge Halo fan since it came out way back in the day and have a genuine appreciation for all science fiction. I have to say that I am really excited to have found this mod and to see that there are people who still develop ideas simply for the love of the genre rather than just for money. I'm also looking to start a new hobby and get into 3D modeling beyond my understanding of AutoCAD. Looking forward to seeing this mod in action and hopefully seeing some of you all on XBox Live. Laters.

I, too, have been into Halo since it came with our first Xbox. I played the shit out of it by myself for the longest time, but didn't get into the multiplayer aspect of it until I joined the Air Force. Nearly everyone in Tech School had an xbox and Halo, so every weekend we would pile into someone's dorm room, sometimes 16 to 18 of us cramped together on 4 xboxes, playing CTF and Slayer. Good times. Miss that kind of stuff.

MP was much less hostile back then, because if you went off too much you could get your ass beat in real time. This was in 2004 and I was 19.

Yeah, I have fond memories of piling into buddies basements with a couple of xbox's trying to get LAN to work. Especially enjoyed trying to replace an Ethernet cable at 9:56pm on a Friday night and racing to the store to get cable. lol Really enjoyed real time defense too, usually involving throwing items or hitting each other while playing. Good times. Anyone still remember the OLD SCHOOL xbox controllers? (or as we used to call them the Big Hungry Controllers since they were the size of a small child whose eaten too many oreos).
