About two years ago I was searching for a good Star Trek mod for Sins of a Solar Empire and I saw this one in the process though there was no release at the time so I didn't follow it.

Do you think the fear still exists about modding you copy of a game with software you dont fully understand?
I recall thats what stoped me in the begining believing that installing this mod and making it work with no risks would require skills and understanding beyond me.
Course this is far from the truth but it was an initial concern.

I actually haven't told you guys how I stumbled upon it, I was looking through modDb and then I saw SotP and I was like: Ooh, nice
And then a year after that I decided to become a member on the forum

It is true. I was reluctant to try out the mod. It's actually a funny story how we came to a deal.
We were talking and Sloose offered to try out League of Legends if I got the most updated version of the mod. Considering he had been asking me about the mod long before I asked him about League, it was completely fair.
Long story short, the deal has been honored by both parties mentioned. I won't say any more.
I apologize if there are any members of this forum who actively dislike league of legends, but since this forum is about the sins mod, let's stay on topic.
Yes, I realize that my post may be hypocritical. I accept all bashing which may ensue.
Thank you for your time.

Lol. I'm happy that my status as a league player has been thus received.
To Mr. grunt563, if it helps, I find league to be much more enjoyable if you are able to play it with friends.
And I don't mean friends in your league friends list who you have never met in person. I mean your actual friends. Having some form of online voice chat up makes the experience a whole lot more enjoyable. You may not necessarily be winning more games, but you'll be having so much fun it won't matter.
Thank you for your time.
Edit: took out some redundant wording. LOL

Yeah, any multiplayer game is better with friends, and I did play with a friend. But I dunno I guess League just isn't my thing. Don't get me wrong though I did have some good time in the game.

I saw a random post on facebook from the "UNSC"-page .. I immediately clicked, read, saw pics .. And (even through I had never heard of "Sins of a Solar Empire") bought the game and downloaded the mod - never even got to play the actual game before adding the mod .. That was a handful of dollars well spent - without a doubt! xD
And .. I spent the first 11 hours getting my ass DESTROYED by the enemy, until I learned the game mechanics fully .. Fun game - but without the mod .. It's so darn easy!

Hello, I am 343 Guilty spark, Monitor of installation 04, I am here to give tips to your mod about the most facinating forerunner artifacts that may interest you, reclaimers. I found you in my database when i 'borrowed' a UNSC frigate. Anyways, good day reclaimers!

@SPECTRE: Why?
It takes a dwarf to use magma for snow shoveling
Only in Dwarf Fortress would you try to catch a mermaid to butcher her and make trophies out of her bones
