I've been playing for a week now and havent seen anyone on.  Am I the only guy from 'Murica or something?  

 

Anyways, let me know when you guys normally get on and I'll try and be there for them.  I'm up for a real game

Best you add people on Steam and try it that way.

Yeah, add me on steam, and watch for when i put up status updates about games. I usually put up a status an hour or two in advance and try to set up the games by 6 PM EST

Join our steam group and just start asking people who are online if they want to play, get a game going yourself. They're all part of the group because they want to play it, you know.

I used to periodically post the Steam and Xfire group links in my status, but I thought it was starting to look too spammy. What with what seems like a recent influx of new members, I think I'll do it again.

if you mean ICO, we dont set up games there, we start a steam chatroom and invite people there, then we go into ICO to start the game

Because im exponentially better at team games. I flat out suck at 1v1.

Well that and my teammate was not very helpful.  I let him have the richer planets that he asked for and barely did any better with them.  Plus turtling like that is not a legitimate strategy........

Always apply pressure to the enemy when you can.

Yeah, I don't see enough raiding with small token forces. I leave planets completely undefended a lot. That's why AIs bug the shit out of me, I actually have to prioritize tactical structures. You'll probably do more economic damage to your opponent than you spend in resources sending five Charons to pillage his unprotected worlds a little.

You might have to do that as UNSC vs Covenant. Since Covenant don't have a defense they would have to divert forces away from the front to deal with these small groups. Though you want to bring a few Halcyons to bring some bombardment damage since 5 Charons ain't gonna do the trick. As they could send a single ship to deal with you.

 

Might be a good diversion tactic to move in your main battle group to kill a now less numerous enemy on the frontline.

Actually, in canon, the UNSC was known to conduct ops behind enemy lines (see: headhunters)
