Forgive me if this has been discussed before.

I was looking through the ModDB page at some of the renders of Covie ships.  Really amazing work.  I started saving one of the CAS-Assault Carrier pictures to my Halo folder and noticed a few ships from the Halo comics that I had saved pictures of.  I'm not sure if you guys have already seen these or not, but I wanted to bring them to your attention in case you still needed more Covenant ships.

Here we have an agricultural support ship, which is 750 meters long (2460.6 feet).  Not sure what this could be used for.
InfinateSuccor.JPG

Here's a frigate (not sure on size, though definitely larger than a UNSC destroyer).
uhmpDuG.jpg

Another frigate.  This one looks to be winged.  1000 meters (3280 feet)
Covenant_Frigate.jpg

A super destroyer.  This ship is 2000 meters (6600 feet) long.

Super-destroyer.jpg

And here's a supercruiser.

Unidentified_Covenant_Warship_1.JPG

The supercruiser had a length of about 3576 meters, or 11,732 feet (http://halo.wikia.co...nt_supercruiser), so smaller than a CAS-class Assault Carrier.  It's mass was about three-times that of a CCS-class Battlecruiser (http://www.halopedia...nt_Supercruiser).  It featured 5 energy projectors on the prow and a dorsal turret.  Halo Nation also suggests pulse lasers and proton torpedoes, which is logical.

So there are a few nice ships to add to the mod if you guys are looking for more ships.

The other thing I wanted to mention was the CRS-class Light Cruiser model you guys have.  It's beautiful, and definitely makes sense in regards to the description in Halo: The Fall of Reach (though I agree with the comments that the wings could be bulked-up).  However, according to Halo Nation (http://halo.wikia.co...s_light_cruiser) and Halopedia (http://www.halopedia...s_light_cruiser) the small CCS-class-like ships we see in Halo 4 are actually CRS-class Light Cruisers.  Personally I find this kinda lazy and unfortunate, similar to the plot device-class Covenant Plot Device, but I'm not sure how you guys wanted to approach that since Halo 4 is canon.  I just wanted to bring that to your guys' attentions.

No, for the love of God, don't put that freak into this Mod. Just because 343i screwed this up doesn't mean you have to too. It's horrible, they didn't want to create a new hull design and decided to copy/paste the CCS in a smaller version, now I can't recognize it from a CRS. Please, don't put that thing in SotP.

I agree.  It's lazy and unfortunate.  I wish they had made a new model.

ummmmmm actually, it is CANON that the CRS is a smaller CCS, and not just from halo 4. Also, there will be different textures between the CRS and CCS

The CCS is far more powerful and has an energy projector, unlike the CRS. the CRS is also a frigate while the CCS is a cruiser. Dont worry, there is plenty of difference :P

Ok then. Just make sure it has some differences in the design.

I think the concern was that the CRS is just visually scaled-down CCS.  Which is very much what it looks like.  But if you guys have plans for this then I'm excited.

Trade ship would be good. Either that or a support vessel since that is what it is.

Looks a bit too pointy to have a good model done in SoaSE. Maybe the basic shape, shrunk down and then used as a trade ship like Zero said.

Another frigate.  This one looks to be winged.  1000 meters (3280 feet)

Pretty sure this ships model is done (or variant of) and just needs texturing. I'm not sure on its role, probably a cruiser of sorts.

A super destroyer.  This ship is 2000 meters (6600 feet) long.

Red plasma  . I don't really like this ship though, not Covenanty enough.

The other thing I wanted to mention was the CRS-class Light Cruiser model you guys have.  It's beautiful, and definitely makes sense in regards to the description in Halo: The Fall of Reach (though I agree with the comments that the wings could be bulked-up).  However, according to Halo Nation and Halopedia the small CCS-class-like ships we see in Halo 4 are actually CRS-class Light Cruisers.

The CRS is talked about in Fall of Reach. Halo as a whole has got lazy lately (plot device, Chief new armor, Amber Clad change) but I personally don't mind mini CCSes cruising around. I also concur that the smaller CCS class looking ships in Halo 4 are the CRS.

Personally I find this kinda lazy and unfortunate, similar to the plot device-class Covenant Plot Device, but I'm not sure how you guys wanted to approach that since Halo 4 is canon.  I just wanted to bring that to your guys' attentions.

But this is where I draw the line. Say no to plot device. (kind of rhymes... ish)
