It's possible, the Canada Man used his endless sea of fangirls as a shield.

The yearning for a man in a suit who can provide a home, white picket fence, gratuitous wealth, 2.5 children, and various space vessels is just enormous.

Spoiler

He thinks our struggle eternal. He does not realize only I am eternal. His fate is already sealed.

My immortality is attained through my descendants. My progeny will be born into a conflict that they won't be able to fully comprehend the vastness of but are selectively bred for. The struggle for dominance will only be stopped by the sun itself burning out.

And holy shit, this might be the weirdest intro thread.

Yeah, that was an impressive response. It's futile, but impressive. I've outlived many stars. Many conquerors.
