One bridge (the largest at nijimegan) was not captured, and one was destroyed. Many outlying towns were not secured due to US commanders thinking that they were not valuable objectives. This resulted in Flanking on the XXX corps.

M468 no I know that, in my part of the UK I belong to a sub class of people who pretty much dominate career soldiering, my father is still serving in his fifties from the age of 18, my brothers both are still serving after 11 years, I served for 8 years, my grandfather did 20 years, his father did 20, his father was born out in Sudan when the army were out there served 20 years, it goes on and on.
