Just got done playing a game with a couple friends. We did 3v3 as the UNSC versus the Covies. I spawned apart from them, so I got outnumbered for most of the game. Then, in the last three minutes, I kill a few harassing ships and ALL of the enemy fleets converge on that one planet. The Combined Fleet of Fuck Yo Ass steamrolled the rest of my planets in minutes. It was such a beautiful moment of utter despair. It's stuff like this that makes me love being here.

I just jumped my OAS to an asteroid, and watched from the perspective of one of the resident Saber fighters as it proceeded to demolish the entire gravity well. That was one of the most breathtaking and horrifying things I've ever seen.

Just had an Autumn capture a CCS while it was jumping away, and it immediately zoomed to the next planet over and got instakilled by the resident armada. Thanks Autumn.

Breaking the moment spree. So I've been playing Morrowind recently. At the time of writing, I've just given some guy valuable information he wanted, and he rewarded me with a rare bow. I stepped to the entrance of his home, turned around, and shot him with poison arrows using the bow he had just given me, fulfilling my assassination mission.

I actually saved before killing him because it's very possible to ruin everything in Morrowind, making save scumming a legitimate practice. He had a group of people with him that I could absolutely obliterate but wanted to leave alive to try and pretend that I actually am the hero and not just some thug that does as I please. I killed them all, but there was nothing worth looting in the entire place so I loaded my save and let the rest of them live and just ran straight out the door.

This is a few days late, but I wanted to reply to that Halo x Mass Effect comment chain on Facebook, and I refuse to make an account on there. The power levels in Halo are astronomically huge compared to Mass Effect. A single MAC from a frigate would almost be enough to outright destroy a Reaper (I've done the math), and Covenant plasma, being directed energy weapons, would completely ignore kinetic barriers. Halo mops the floor with Mass Effect. That little video was brilliant, and spot on.

Yeah. Halo wins, but only because it's far softer on the scale of Science Fiction Hardness, and has big numbers on its side.

Damn. I think there should be flag in Steam preventing big sales from being listed...something labelled "I'm poor. Don't tempt me with your sales!" or "Damn it, don't show me new sales, I haven't played the games from the previous sale!"
