Has anyone played ATTILA TW? Is it kind of like Napolean TW, where it really doesn't add that much and so doesn't deserve to be its own game.

Didn't play it but heard fellow members of this community that have played it and they said it's great and adds a ton of things.
I'm excited to try the new diplomacy and family tree, and see the units of the late 4th century.

Adds tons of new things and it can be fun, but without mods it is quite literally impossible to survive more than 50 years as the Eastern Romans, let alone the Western Romans.

Also, at normal difficulty you can survive EVERYTHING FOREVER. It's an easy game. Although the WRE might be quite hard to begin as, you just gotta protect Italy and fortify it. You'll get to conquer back all you've lost in a matter of turns.
