This has been addressed in canon.  I'd answer but I don't want to get banned for addressing a point made by the mod staff again.  That being said though, the Justice's size and class has been up for debate for some time now.

Not exactly.

"First Echelon, you're with me, blanket those cruisers, take ‘em out one by one. Second Echelon, keep those carriers busy."

This seems to me that the 2 Carriers were a WAY bigger threat than the first.  Where as the cruisers could be taken down the carriers couldn't.

Fleet Admiral Harper (COM): "The carriers are breaking through, Sir! They're heading straight for the Cairo!"

Lord Hood (COM): "Cortana! Concentrate your fire on the first carrier. Admiral, do what you can against the second."

The Carriers were the ones who charged ahead.  The cruisers if anything would want to hang back as a single SMAC round would end it.

The CAS is not a combat ship, Its job is to land troops and act as a command ship, can't remember where i got this in my head by they can only fire two of their energy projectors at once.

Right and this is stated in canon where?  In Ghosts of Onyx the reverence class cruiser can only fire one of its two energy projectors at once.

The carriers were meant to break down to new Mombasa, its a good delaying and distracting target, not to hit the UNSC ships.

If the carriers were meant for combat then the UNSC would have prioritised them first.

That says nothing.  Half the UNSC fleet was dedicated to holding back the carriers and they failed even with cover fire from the Cairo.  The cruisers were taken out first because it'd deplete the Covenant's fleet faster to do it that way.

Ask any idiot who knows anything about any form of warfare, even the dumbest people don't throw it in.

If it Was meant for combat it would be so shit, "jack of all trades, Master of none". If it was meant for combat then why designate it an assault carrier, otherwise it should be named, the "Covenant all in one steamroll ship that can deploy troops and shit, and take on other ships and shit"

yes, but why throw a hierarch at 3 massive guns and numerous enemy ships? For all we know the cruisers rushed the UNSC, while the carriers moved in. plus you can SEE unsc frigates and marathon's get destroyed in orbit. 2 assault carrier's cant destroy that many ships in such a short amount of time.
