Hello everyone! Just here to do a quick little intro. I am a long time lurker and also probably the worst play tester this mod has ever had. Back in the day when the mod team still operated off of the danmangames forums I volunteered for the honor of play testing this amazing mod. Unfortunately it was not meant to be. After posting only a handful of times on bugs that I had found and other assorted mod related things I was sent off on deployment and could not contribute further to the mod. Naturally I lost my play tester status due to a year of inactivity. Once I got back to the states, I turned into a lurker. I became a creature of the shadows. Always watching this mod as bits and pieces of info was released to the public. Finally, I decided to step out into the sun again and become a contributing member of this mods society. I was accepted once more into the fold and became a play tester for the second time. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. The gods, gleefully rubbing their hands, made me experience a sense of deja vu as I experienced almost the exact same situation as the last time I became a play tester. I got to play long enough to post a few things about strategy and errors before I was sent on a deployment once more. It has been awhile since then and I see things have changed dramatically. Not only is there now a website just for this mod but there is also a public release for the mod. Now that I am done reminiscing about the good old days where I could create massive fleets of the only forerunner ship that was in the game and steamrolling everything, I would just like to say hello everyone. Actually, yes I did. This last time I was deployed to this little shit hole of an island country called Bahrain that is smaller than Rhode Island. It is located just off the coast of Iran. We were there as a deterrent. Using the Patriot missile system we theoretically keep Iran from attacking this little country. Still, much nicer than anywhere else I have been. 

 

Glad to be back aboard. The last time I was here, there was no flood yet. Boy was that a surprise to play against.

I know of Bahrain, Best place i was posted to was the Falklands, it always rains and there's nothing to do but go to the pub, but the people were great.

Sounds great. When we first arrived the unit we were replacing kept telling us stories of how great it was but as we found out, any place can be bad depending on your command chain. Since Bahrain is not a warzone, the units before us were allowed to drink and visit the sites. Our command chain decided that was some pussy shit and kept us locked down on site for most of the year. The only part of Bahrain I ever saw outside of my site was the navy base lol. Fun times.

Naw man, the hottest chicks there had to be the marine chicks. You just have to love those short shorts they use for PT. Unfortunately though, I was only able to look not touch. My woman would do some crazy shit and fly out to Bahain just to stab me if I ever cheated lol. Fear for my life I did.
