There are many good reasons why the plot device won't be in the mod, mate. I can't list them all but the primary one is scale. It's just never going to change so long as Unikraken pulls the strings.
As you say, both made sense but I don't like the line itself, it's just a little casual.

Edit: Word filter caught me. I'll leave it. I like the principle.

Wondering now if Bungie had more time would they have come up with a more original plot device design unlike in Halo 2 they throw in the Marathon class model to represent the pillar of autumn in the intro (thankfully we dont adhere to that game canon or the two cruisers would look confusingly similar)
