So i was lurking around the forum for some time beforehand and had a look about and last night i thought i would join the comunity proper. To get involved. Wierdly enough the terrible thread was the thirst thread i came across. And well thats enough of that...
im a close personal friend of specter who you all seem to know, and erm ... 'love'
my interests are older stratergy games like age of empires cossax and the original total war games. i also enjoy checkers, chess, card games, cars, Motorbikes, engines, football, cricket, and rugby.
im not really a fan of science, space treky, star wars, or anything like that but i do like halo and i have to read books that specter gave me to read.
Anyway the reason i started to play this game was because i started to get more and more free time, and there isnt enough room for me to carry consoles round so i bought a laptop broke out every game i own and installed them i mainly play older strategy games and specter suggested sins of the solar empire trinity which i thought was good but just a bit slow i like games where i have to react quickly and think on my feet so he suggested this mod might speed things up.
I enjoy it and cant wait until i get rebellion or you guys do a second trinity release so that i can play as other factions.

Where i currently am there is a terrible internet connection and when i do get connection it has to be routed to an mod building to be censored so my posting may be sporadic.

When can we expect an update for trinity?
how many of you are current serving or former serving military? Specter told me that there were a fair bunch.
in what order should i read the books? (I just wan't a second opinion OK)
Any general rules, or taboos on forum? Some forums don't allow politics, and stuff like: "you know"?
Can someone bring me up to speed with all these inside jokes?
I look forward to meeting and getting to know all of you.
