Does anyone know any quick and effective ways to destroy the Flood?

Anti fighter frigates, carriers and some destroyers to shoot the big ships while your anti fighters keep them safe from the spores

I don't think I can afford all that because in the game I'm on my allies have all the other planets in the system

so I'm on a tight budget and I'm trying to stop the flood before they get to far

If you play as the UNSC, get Mako corvettes, they shoot the spores, then a few Paris classes to shoot their ships

Yeah I've already tried that the flood just have too many ships for the Paris class to shoot down before they infect the planet.

My advice. Don't turn on the Flood unless you're looking to get wrecked

I last quite awhile but after the 3rd or 4th wave they overwhelm me.

so far the only effective tactic is to use the Spartan boarding party to steal vanguard sentinels.

Yeah, but if you can afford Autumns, you can also afford a lot of Makos

yeah but they don't last long unlike the vanguard.

and vanguard are resistant to infection.

I think the real problem is the flood go for my planet first and its hard to stop their ships(The guardian class mostly)before they reach my planet.

And pay them to attack someone else first so you can strengthen your defenses

Anchor stations can prevent the planet from falling. Combine this with mines, and you can definitely outlast the flpod

But, can't Anchor stations because infected? I think I've had it happen before
