I've had planets go dark while there was an Anchor station on it

But, can't Anchor stations because infected? I think I've had it happen before

Although it may (may?) be possible to end up with a flood infested anchor due to a race condition (never tested it, but I suppose it... could happen...), starbases are (semi-intentionally) uninfestable once construction has begun.

If they went dark, the station probably got destroyed...

Im in unless a wild Literature paper appears or some wild animal attacks me.

Also if your trying to hold the flood, interceptors and SMAC's work wonders. If you're Covenant however, just hide behind the cheapest ships and star bases you can find and pray it will hold them with their fighters.

I last quite awhile but after the 3rd or 4th wave they overwhelm me.
