Answer: Interestingly, these ships were all part of the most recent Visual Guide, but didn’t make it in due to space limitations. Here are their names, but alas, which is which? Some of the more vigilant of Halo spaceship fans will likely be able to tell.

Vindication-class Light Battleship

Length: 1,580m (5,183ft)

Poseidon-class Light Carrier

Length: 719m (2,359ft)

Strident-class Heavy Frigate

Length: 1,887ft (575m)

One hint is that the ships are not completely to scale with each other as objects in the game, but the dimensions above represent their fictional sizes. It’s possible we may dig deeper one day.

There are no sources for the information of the names.
It just says halo 4 and spartan ops without reference.

Ahh thank you.
I'm thinking where they would go in exactly.
Perhaps they could be classed as escort vessels. Both being to light for combat. I have a micro mod proposal. But I'll wait for the official dev stance on these vessels before taking action.

Interesting...the halo wiki and the halopedia have a disagreement on which class is which.

The one shown in the promotional video commissioning was shown to have vehicles on top of it, both look like carriers.

I want to get in to this but I just can't be bothered. All I can say is I hope those ships don't make it anywhere past 343.

^They seem kind of lazily done imo.  Look like they belong in a Star Fox game lol.  Also they are pearlescent white, what's up with that.

They'll probably look good with a new skin.  I do like the Strident with its actual not white skin.

actually, Infinity is the same color as all the other ships, which are actually not white. In spartan ops, one of the levels in chapter 6(?) previews the antenna ship, which has a greyish color to it. This is also the most detailed non-cutscene shots of  the new ships

Really?  Do you think it adds to the ship?  I dunno I'm actually color blind but the ships to look extra light to me in the final starfighter sequence.

you mean the ships in the background that are not at all detailed? that you can only get close to by glitching?

honestly, if you consider those ships official models, somethings wrong

ok, THATS grey armor that is being lit up by an artificial star or other light source that is, at best, a few hundred miles away.

[wishfull.thinking] If 343I can go out of their way to change the original Charon and Mjolnir designs then I'm sure these ships will be given a serious and well thought out redesign for any future appearance.[/wishfull.thinking]

It most certainly is not.  It takes place on Cyclone which is a cloudly/nighttime map.

This is a better shot of it however with a better texture.

I remember when these ships didn't have a name, But does it bug anybody else when they put ships out like this. But give NO information on weapons or anything else besides just a name?

Honestly I'd be kinda glad the UNSC is fielding proper warships again.

No the texture is definitely white. Even when not in direct light, its still white colored.
