yah, i installed the mod via the installer, it is pathed right, and my steam version of trinity for entrenchment is at 1.055, but nothing has worked. there is not change in ui, no removal of the vanilla sins factions, no unsc, no flood, nothing. it just runs vanilla entrenchment. i have used very few mods, so i hope it wasn't some screw up on my part, but i don't think thats the case. steam has a habit of reformatting some of the games from time to time in order to make them play smoother, and it did that recently to sins and rebellion, at least on my computer. if that has messed with the format of the game to where the mod wont work, im up the creek with out a paddle. i have waited a long time for this mod, and this would really suck if i cant find a way around this problem.

please someone answer with a possible solution soon!!!

Did you manually enable the mod inside the game, or just put it in the folder and expect it to work?

Did you already go to the options part of the main menu and enable it? Sounds like you haven't.

it was already enabled when i went into the game. i checked the folder, and the mod enable.txt file had it set up and everything, but nothing is working. at best i am an amature when i comes to figuring out how computers work, so i don't know if i did something wrong or not. i used the installer, and everything was set up, so.....

is the text file supposed to say SoTP_UNSC_RELEASE or SoTP_UNSC_BETA? Because the enable.txt file says SoTP_UNSC_RELEASE.....

delete the enabled mod.txt file, reenable the mod in game, and see if that works

the demo release showed up, but not the beta. it is enabled and works. sorry for my stupidity.....

I am having a similar problem but when i go to enable it soase just shuts down.

Does it throw up an error/minidump? Also, are you using the correct version of Sins?

No i realize now that i am using the Trinity and not just expansion thanks for the help

I am also having a problem (first time modder) I have it in the folder Mods-Rebellion v1.1 and I do have that txt file in there, (not sure if that makes a difference) but as soon as I click enable in-game and then apply changes, it goes to the loading screen and crashes immediately. it just says runtime error and says it was terminated. if it helps in any way info-wise when I click enable I do happen to notice it says mod enabled checksum goes to some crazy 400,000 number. Please help!!

ok? someone could have just said that nicely???? why are all of you grumpy and good-for nothing trolls so far? one person could have said that it's for rebellion, I didn't know I didn't read a whole lot into it, in fact I went onto the SINS OF A SOLAR EMPIRE REBELLION WEBSITE!!! forums and it sent me to this mod. so from what I knew I got this mod from THE REBELLION expansion, in fact it was first on the list on the top 77 mods forum post on sins of a solar empire: rebellion.

thank you, I will go into this some more. hopefully looking to go into it after my paycheck so that I may get this mod. not a die-hard fan but Halo is definitely my top 5
