My Spartan's backstory and MOH Citation

For those of you who don't know, I cosplay a Spartan, Spartan-300. I decided to sit down and write a little bit of backstory and a Medal of Honor citation. Please keep it civil, I'm not looking for a bunch of trolls on this, either you like it or you don't. I would post this on the 405th website but it's a complete mess at the moment and I try to stay away from anything official since they are the way they are.

Spartan-300 was originally born in 2534 in the Earth city of Grand Rapids, Michigan under the name of REDACTED. He enlisted in the UNSC Marines in 2552 shortly after the fall of Reach and applied for service in an ODST battalion almost immediately. He served in the 2^nd Shock Troops Battalion during the battle for New Mombasa and participated in the recovery of the Master Chief. He survived the war and volunteered for the Spartan IV program during the post war period. After completing his Spartan augmentations and training, he was stationed on the UNSC Infinity and was on board during the battle for Requiem. He fought with Fireteam Green and received the UNSC Medal of Honor for his valor during the UNSC Infinity's escape from the planet. He is currently stationed on the UNSC REDACTED and is the Spartan Commander on board that vessel.

COMMANDER

SPARTAN-300

UNSC Spartan Branch

For extraordinary heroism and conspicuous gallantry in action against enemy Covenant and Promethean forces, above and beyond the call of duty, while serving with the 1^st Spartan Battalion on the planet of Requiem on March 1^st, 2558. While the enemy was hammering at the Spartans defensive positions, Spartan-300, in charge of 2 platoons of Spartans, fought valiantly to check the savage and determined assault Promethean and Covenant Assault. In a fierce aerial and ground assault from all sides, with the opposing forces overrunning his positions, one of 300's platoons' M41 heavy machine guns was overrun. 300 quickly ran from his fighting position to position of the platoon in need of assistance. Under withering fire from opposition forces, 300 fought the combined might of the Covenant and Promethean forces singlehandedly using only his standard issue BR-85HB SR and his M6H PDWS. 300 then ran out of ammunition on his two primary weapons, leaving him with no other option than to bring the machine gun back online. 300 destroyed the remaining covenant and Promethean ground forces leaving the remaining air forces. 300 then called in UNSC air support which destroyed the remaining air forces. He returned to his command position and directed the remnants of his platoons, providing Fireteam Crimson valuable time to free the UNSC Infinity from Requiem's hold. His great personal valor and courageous initiative were in keeping with the highest traditions of the UNSC Spartan Branch.

I think that the highest UEG citation was the colonial cross.

Unless units are attached to a singular country so in your case the United Republic of North America may raise certain units that are under command of the United Republic of North America section of the UNSC army or navy. Not to dissimilar with the way we used to raise units, and still raise units nowdays. <edit> wait i forgot america doesn't have localised units aside from the national guard.

Don't get so full of yourself. We all know Canada alone is bigger than you and Queeny is still head of state there so, you know, in a way...

Anyway, I like it, but I agree with SPECTRE that MoH would possibly be under a different name? I can't recall what Keyes gets presented with at the beginning of 2 but that might be it.

According to the wiki, chief receives the MOH at the beginning of Halo 2, that's what I went off of.

Ahem BOAT alone is 660,000 square miles, bump in the commonwealth 11,566,870 sq mi, and the UK is 94,060 sq mi, total: 12,320,930 sq miles.

It's two different tactical vests on top of each other. The top one is all nylon and is from tru spec. The other one is a vest I bought from an airsoft place, apparently it is something from transformers 3 but is used by a lot of cosplayers. I saw someone as deathstroke wearing it at my last con.
