Hey, just wondering, with scale in mind, will most of the covenant ships be larger than most if not all the UNSC ships. I don't know how big the thermopalye is specifically, but will the assault carrier dwarf it?

The covenant ships are to scale from the books just like the unsc so most of the ships will be bigger.

Does this give you a better Idea of what the Scales would be, and the mod is staying true to the scale

Well if you knew your Halo ships you wouldn't need to know their names

We're doing our damnedest to stay true to Halo lore scale. However we did increase the size of the UNSC destroyer, because a Paris-class frigate was actually technically larger than they were described in the 10 year old book. Things change so we have to as well. We have to take in mind that 10 year old material may not have the attention to detail necessary.

i dont know them, so thats why i want to learn them lol

besides, its mostly the forerunner stuff that i want to learn the names of anyway

I think the ship scales are perfect, It is the building scales that need to be changed like the smac and the anchor station.

i wish these pictures had better resolution so i could look at the actual names of things...

I also wish they were super high resolution. I'd be awesome to zoom in on each ship and be able to read the names

Some of the scales look really wonky on that chart, especially that Covenant Supercarrier.

Yeah according to that chart the infinity is 28 kilometers long.

canada meant supercruiser, im willing to bet that was just a slip of words. the infinity IS longer than a covenant assault carrier, but only by a little, less than half a KM

No, I meant the size difference between the SuperCarrier and the Assault Carrier. It's incredibly off.

Also, the Infinity is in no way near the Covenant SuperCarrier plot device 28k.

No. There is conversion chart at the bottom. That big covy ships is just a bit bigger then 4 km

It is the "CAS Assault Carrier Shadow of Intent" from Halo 2
As opposed to the "CAS Assault Carrier Ascendant Justice" from First Strike, which is 3000m

Not sure why there are 2 different sizes for the CAS Assault Carrier, but yeah...

Because they didn't want to design different covy ships. Pretty much all the ships are just slightly bigger versions of the last "BIG" one you see.
