Hi I recently downloaded and installed the mod. The game started up beautifully and I played for several hours. I decided to try and bump up the detail on the game so I set everything to high but now whenever the game starts my screen goes black and my monitor says that it is no longer receiving a signal. Is there any way to fix this besides uninstalling and reinstalling?

Sounds like your graphics card can't handle the payload and is close to kicking the bucket. What GPU do you have?

I wonder if your PC is overheating. Is your PC well ventilated?

Your PC is overheating. I had this exact issue and continue to have it pretty often because I'm too lazy to clean my PC on the regular. Go buy a can of air and open up your PC outside, blow out the dust, especially shit caked on your CPU's heat sink or fan. Stick the little nozzle into your video card if it's a bulky one and blow it out, as well as any other area it looks dusty.

Just saying. Modern boards are more resistant than old ones but one really should avoid it.
