Basically i apply the mod, and nothing happens, its shown as activated in the mods screen but I can't actually play the mod.

Did you follow the DIRECTIONS and use the .text file?

My lazyness precedes me.
SotP comes in zip file, in that zip file is a folder, and in that folder is another folder for the mod, make sure that is the one you activated
Inside the first sotp folder is the actual mod, make sure thats the one you're putting in the rebellion folder.

I think you need to put that in big fat red letters on the mod db page and forums.
