Oh, did the thoughts and concerns thread get burned in the Purge? I was gonna link it because, while I haven't and don't plan to watch these videos, I'm sure a lot of what's mentioned went in line with that discussion. Oh well.

Also, (just judging by the second video) everyone knows 343 wants Halo to be CoD. That ain't news.

I'm fine as long as Halo 5 will have a great campaign. I don't care much for the multy. As long as it works...it's a shame that the MCC failed hard in the multy, while it delivered a majestic Campaign experience, from the Menu music to the Easter Eggs.

I don't know why, but this reminded me of how the MLG playlist in Reach has no reticle bloom. Because remember, real pros don't need anything so quaint as skill.

I don't really care much about MP these days. I want a solid and compelling campaign. I think I'll get that, so I WILL be pre-ordering Halo 5. I very seriously doubt anyone here could genuinely question my love for Halo.

This. I've only liked the MP modes of Reach, 2, and 5 anyway, and only really care about the Reach one.

I'll play MP, but overall the miniscule stuff that folks argue over doesn't affect me. I think sprint is fine. I was okay with armor lock. I think armor abilities are fine. Equipment is fine. Only thing I really hate in Halo is the sniper whoring. People master one tiny part of the game and then manage to ruin the experience for everyone else. That's the sniper to me. Let's see you get MVP with the AR. I've done that. It feels incredible. Sniping is lame.

We'd have to disable melee damage if I did this, because I rely so heavily on melee that it's ingrained into my muscle memory.
