So I'm not 100% sure , but it seems I've either disabled or forgotten how to use the shield refit ability on cradle units. I have my heavy construction yard built, I have the research unlocked and purchased, and I've tried to initiate the refit with the constitution yard, and both versions of the cradle station. I'm also making sure the ship's I'm targeting are near the shipyards. The reticule also turns to the red "can't target that" x when I point at a capital ship.
Dunno what else to do, assistance needed

Uhm. Did you try redownloading? Maybe you got a slightly corrupt download?

Uhm. Did you try redownloading? Maybe you got a slightly corrupt download?

I'd rather not redownload and reinstal. I'm gonna try to load up a new game and see if it works then, otherwise I'll probably just reinstall

For some reason, after I use shield refit, the shield effect doesn't appear on my ships when they get hit. Is this a bug, or has it not been implemented yet? (it would be a very nice feature)

psdt, what map where you playing? also, did it work when you started a new game?

The hit effect is there, it's just extremely subtle (skin hugging as opposed to a bubble around the ship)

Actually,i had the same bug on a 56 planets medium map.It was a vanilla map if iam not mistaken
