very nice but I think something like this would be attached at the end of the officail report, the top brass might be a bit miffed that a rear admiral could find the time to write a personal note and not bother with a full tactical briefing of the situation and outcome.

Think of it this way; communications are jammed, and he is about to die very soon. He's not necessarily too worried about writing a last report about a battle that the UNSC would already know about by the time someone might find this note.

When you click on the reply box there's a little picture frame icon on the right side of the eraser. click that and scroll to the one that says "spoiler". Then if you have imgur you go to your picture and on the right theres going to be a selection of urls. Click on the one that says BBCode and click on "copy". Paste the picture on in the spoiler bpx and thats about it.
