Ever think what happened to the Spirit of Fire? Could they come back?

The SoF was on a non FTL course back to the colonies at the end of halo wars, so its only a matter of time before it eventually shows up, but its up to the new games to decide that

Well when they gte back they have 3 Spartans, whole bunch of cool, though outdated tech, severely rampant AI, Nice large ship for colonizing, experienced troops, and frankly, they are just plain epic to have survived that ordeal.

The Spirit of Fire had no Spartan contingency on board, otherwise they would have been on Harvest. Remember, the Pillar of Autumn and two other UNSC ships were in orbit of Arcadia at the time. Red Team was just evacuated with the Spirit of Fire when they had to chase Anders across the galaxy.
