I love the regular maps and such, but the ones custom made are simply amazing (i cant play the state of war 2543, i get too confused) and i was wondering if you guys were planning on adding more 3v3 4v4 and 5v5 custom maps for the mod?

Yeah I feel you on state of war 2543, although it is an amazing map, it is hard for me to get going but then again it should be. but I am also wondering if you guys will be making more maps in the future?

I'm the map maker for the mod, if you have any specific ideas for maps to add to the game please post them here, I'll go ahead and sticky it.

Maybe a Sol system map with another star outside for the covvies to spawn in and invade from?

What if you made a map that is completely Flood based? Where all the systems are linked but With rich Asteroid Fields, making the fields a very valuable resource but you have to be wary of the Flood while occupying them. have 3-5 stars, but 2 of them are pretty meager (player start positions) and have 3 flood infested systems, and if you can take one from the flood, you have the advantage of technology, and very rich resources.

What is the name of the really big map you have? The biggest one. I think state of war? Anywho it would be cool if you could have that map but you only start with one system. Call it Humanities Renaissance or the Second Great Colonization. Where humanity spreads back out into the galaxy to regain the planets they lost. Just a suggestion.

Do they have to be based in Halo lore? If not, I'd love to see a map based on the 9 worlds of Norse Mythology. Each world can be it's own star system, with the Sol System being Midgard for example.

Ha how could I forget? And I believe Germanic Neopaganism is what you're looking for.

That is kind of it. That is more over arching though. I think if you refer to it as your current religion it would be Norse Paganism.

Sorry about that. I meant Odinism, which is a subset of Germanic Neoganism. As you can tell by the name, Odinism is much more direct in its worship of the old school Norse pantheon. (wow, I know a bit too much about that)

How about a map based off of historical time periods? Like a Roman or Napoleonic map for example? Planets can be cities (i.e. Rome, Carthage, Londinium for the Roman map, and Paris, Cadiz, Moscow for the Napoleonic map), star systems can be regions/states (i.e. France, England, Prussia, Russia, Carthage, Epirus, Parthia), and asteroid belts can be rivers (i.e. Rubicon, Rhine, etc).

Anywho, we'd like to build a 2v2 map here pretty soon. Maybe 3 star? Personally I'm not a big fan of the huge maps like State of War. I prefer competitive maps that can be completed in a single match with another human.

That's what I was driving at earlier. Try to make them tight and competitive.

i tried making a map, instead ended up in the system where i had placed 50 flood worlds. i didnt even atempt to play that map.

I love how extensive the state of war 2543 map is, but is there anyway where you can start way before the war, So basically at the beginning of the halo verse when the UNSC had just earth, or maybe the inner colonies? And then expand from there?

Who would they be fighting? Same idea except after the war would be better.
