After some thought I realized that it seems a bit for a Berlin to have a mac gun. It's a siege frigate that is meant to carry heavy ordance to bombard enemy planets and that wouldn't leave alot of room for a MAC. Personally I would like to see them without a MAC but let the debate begin!
Heavy siege ordnance =?MAC

You have to break the fleet in orbit before you can move in to safely bombard. I don't think UNSC Command would ever make another ship that doesn't have a MAC that isn't a stealth ship.
Or the mako, which has a role where a MAC would hinder it most likely

To be honest the mako is a point defense system with engines and a slipspace drive attached.
Well, isnt that somewhat what a corvette is? Lol

The berlins always ignore my commands to attack enemy ships, and head straight to the planet. every time. drives me insane, even when i order them to attack, ive never seen them use them, only missiles. The Berlin HAS a MAC. I don't know how you'd think it didn't.

I think thats the behavior of a seige frigate, prioritizing planet bombardment over engagement of the enemy

Is this an individual command or do you fleet your ships?

individual and fleet command to attack certain targets, berlins ignore them, or rather they start to follow them and then decide that the planet needs bombed more than the enemy -.-Is this an individual command or do you fleet your ships?

I was going to post that last night but I decided to do it today... Slow mo ninja-d... yea that's probably what happenedI've never seen this happen. Maybe the ship's target is destroyed and it simply assigns itself it's next prime task. Take a guess what that might be.
